I'm so sorry, I don't post any article in this site because I have to fight my final examination. In Indonesia Senior High School students have to pass National Examination, Practical Test and also School Final Examination to determine wheter we pass or we fail to continue to University. But now, I want to post a Javanese Poetry that I've written by myself.
Javanese poetry as known as Geguritan has simbolic meaning. And it's different with another kind of poem. Well, let's see what I've done.
Penyakiting Para Pemimpin (Diseases of Our Leaders)
kaangit dening : Anggi Siregar

Apa sejatine sira ngerti teges syukur iku
(did you understand the meaning of thanks to God)
Lumrahing teges tineges kang tinulis Sang Hyang Widhi
(in fact, it has been confirmed by God)
Sira ngendelke kekuatan
(you use your power)
Kaya manggang jati dhiri
(just like you don't have an identity)
Ngendelke trah leluhurnya
(rely on linage)
Kaya manggung tanpa aji
(just like you show off everything that you have wich is not yours)
Ngendelke kepinteran
(using your knowledge)
Ora guna yen tininggal mati
(it will be nothing when you die)
Samsaya pinter kang minteri
(using your brain to make a trick to trap others)
Syukur...Eling syukur...
(thanks to God, remember to say Thanks God)
Kinabeh tulising Sang Hyang Widhi
(everything has been confirmed by God)
Sira pamrih ing gawe
(you ask people to reply your kindness)
Dadi dhuwuran lali andhahan
(when you be a boss, you forget your people)
Dadi panutan malah lali pawulangan
(when you be a role model, you forget to give good example)
Haduh Gusti kula nyuwun pituduh
(God, I need a guide)
Pituduh ingkang dados reseping ati
(Guide or Clues that will show my heart the way)
Dhumateng para pemimpin-pemimpin kula
(for my leaders)
Supados eling punapa kareping syukur
(to remember how to thanks to God)
Syukur ingkang dados koreksi dhiri
(saying thanks to make a self-correction)
